How to Feel Confident When Taking Your CPA Exam.

Here at TAPA Institute, we understand how stressful studying for you CPA exam can be as well as how anxiety-provoking exam day can be. If you find yourself stressing about your upcoming CPA exam, or for any exam in general, here are a few tips to help you feel your most prepared and confident for exam day:

 

1. Prepare well!

There really is no substitution for good preparation. If you are well prepared you will feel more confident going into your exam than if you were not.

 

2. Stay positive!

If you have a bad or negative attitude going into your exam it will likely affect your performance negatively. Tell yourself daily affirmations leading up to your exam to keep you as confident and positive as possible.

 

3. Eat healthy!

Make sure you are filling your body with lots of water and healthy brain foods to keep you feeling  energized and prepared.

 

4. Avoid last minute cramming!

Do not try to cram the night before an exam because it is often counterproductive. The best way to prepare for an exam in the morning is to get a good night’s sleep.

 

5. Meditate/De-stress!

Do some meditation the night before your exam. It is proven that meditation helps relieve symptoms of anxiety and can help with memorization.
